Importing your old GreenPT chats

The Import your old chats option on the Chat start screen brings conversations from chat.greenpt.ai into GreenPT Apps. This is the legacy GreenPT migration flow, not a general upload for another provider’s export.

chat.greenpt.ai closes on 30 September 2026. After that date you can still read and export your old conversations there, but you can no longer send messages. The import described here keeps working, so you can bring your history over before or after the closing date.

For another provider, follow Exporting and importing ChatGPT or Claude conversations. You can also open Import chats from Settings and choose Import from chat.greenpt.ai for the legacy migration when enabled.

Choose what to import

1. Open a new Chat and choose Import your old chats. If a provider chooser appears, select Import from chat.greenpt.ai.
2. Select Everything for all available legacy conversations, or Date range for a smaller scope.
3. Use a preset such as This week, or check the From and To dates yourself.
4. Review the scope and choose Start import when ready.
5. Follow the import status and check the resulting conversations in your sidebar.

The video demonstrates the scope controls and stops before starting an import. It does not show a completed migration.

Find imported work

Use Search chats and conversation actions to find and organise the imported conversations. If expected chats are missing, check the account and selected date range first.

If the import reports an error, keep the message and contact support. Check an in-progress import before starting another attempt; do not repeatedly submit the same migration.
